Lightfin Studios, a Portsmouth, NH marketing communications firm, is in the process of moving into their new studioB-E designed offices at 22 Deer Street. Follow the process of their project on their blog at www.Lightfin.com/blog.

 
o5.o6.1o; Tom participates in the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast Design Charette

Tom lent his design expertise to the Seacoast Workforce Housing Coalition for their first annual design charette to study the viability of a site in Hampton Falls, NH. The two day event brought together the community and its leaders with experts in real estate development, banking/finance, land design and architecture. The process culminated in the team presenting their findings to the community. Look for a regional "reveal event" on Thursday, November 4th. 


o8.o4.o9; Tom named member of the Mitchell/Shapleigh Building Committee

Larry Littlefield, superintendent of the Kittery Schools, announced that Tom Emerson has been appointed by the School Committee to be a citizen member of the group which will oversee the building process to construct additions to Mitchell and Shapleigh schools as part of the plan to consolidate from three to two elementary schools within the system.

  
 
o6.o8.o9; Tom presents at Pecha Kucha Portsmouth II

Tom discussed the design of the space studioB-E created for the Weyland Capital Management offices at 22 Deer Street in Portsmouth, NH as part of a presentation entitled "An Antidote to the Architecture of Anywhere" at Pecha Kucha Portsmouth II on July 8th. Freda, Polly Henkel of Weyland and building owner Vinny Colella were among those attending the event.

 An exhibit of hand drawn architectural renderings by Tom Emerson is on display through the end of July as the featured local artist at the Kittery Starbucks on Route 1 in the Kittery Outlet Malls.
